Tour program: 

7 Days / 6 Nights

Day 1: 

Tirane - Ancient city of Apollonia - National Parc of Llogara

Once you reach the International Airport "Mother Teresa", our guides will be waiting for you, to depart towards the ancient city of Apollonia, which is among the largest in the Adriatic basin and the most remembrance among 30 other cities, with the same name in the ancient time.

It was established around the beginning of the IV century BC. Ruins of Apollonia were discovered in the early XIX century.

We will have lunch in the coastal city of Vlora, in a seaside restaurant.

Afternoon we will continue our tour to Llogara National Park, this park in 1966 was declared as a National Park by the Albanian Government.

Day 2: 

National Parc of Llogara - Qore Mountain

After breakfast we will start snowshoeing, starting from Llogara Neck 1027 m to Qore Mountain 2018 m. The round trip may last about 5-8 hours. The first 2 hours, difficulty level T2, while for those who want to reach to the top, continuation will be difficulty level T3+.

Day 3: 

National Park Llogara - Caesar Trail

Starting early in the morning from Llogara National Park, 800 m altitude, we will start snowshoeing along Caesar Trail 1250 m altitude. Difficulty level T2, the round trip will last 5-6 hours. Once you reach the top of this path, it will apper in front of you a wonderful view of Karaburun Peninsula and the Greek islands, one of the most famous, Corfu island. This trail is called Caesar trail because legends say that Julius Caesar has passed through this trail.

Day 4: 

National Parc of Llogara - Berat City

Berat or otherwise called the city of "one on one windows", belongs to the rarest cities where life started since ancient times and continues without interruption until today. The city was founded in 313-310 BC, as a castle town of Dasareti, called Antipatrea by King Kasander in memory of General Viceroy of Alexander the Great. The city inherits from the past a series of long and rich historical, cultural, ethnographic, architectural and beliefs, that constitute a considerable potential for tourism. One of the values inherited of the city is the crafts in several genres, such as: works in silver and other metals, embroidery, craved wood, decorative works in stone and works in straw.

In Berat we will visit the city Castle, the National Ethnographic Museum, the Cathedral of Saint Mary and Bridge of Gorica.

After a full tour of the city we will have lunch at a traditional restaurant where we will enjoy the typical local food.

Day 5: 

Berat City - Tomorri Mountine

This day will start very early, we have to travel for about 1 hour drive to Tomorri Mountain. Snowshoeing will start from 1500 m altitude to reach up to 2350 m altitude. At this altitude is the shrine of Abaz Ali, the most important in the world for Bektashi Religion.

From this summit we will have a 360 ° view, we can easly see the highest mountains in southern Albania and even Sazan Island.

Day 6: 

Berat city - Kruja city - Tirana, the capital

Departure to Kruja city. We will visit the city, the astle, the museum and city bazaar.

Kruja is one of the cities with the greatest story of all Albanian. It is characterized not only for the particular geography, impressive castle but and for many traditions transmitted from generation to young generation.

Kruja is known as the capital of resistance against the Ottoman invaders while Skanderbeg lead this resistance.

Ethnographic Museum is located within the fortress of Kruja. The museum is set in Toptanis family home, which is a building type "garret" of the year 1764. Flats is a cultural monument of the I-st category. In domestic premises, as well as the facilities listed in the outdoors, given a full picture of craftsmanship exercised in Kruja and in the entire country, as well as lifestyle starting 300 years before. Fully 90 % of the objects of this museum are original and 100% functional. Here we find objects in ceramic, wood, stone, iron, cotton, silk, wool, various embroidery finely exposed. The age of these facilities varies from 60-70 to 500 years.

Kruja Old Bazaar.

Only in the old district of Kruja seem that the present hour is left in the Middle Ages. Women who weave in and weave loom, men who carve wood, copper work and sewing national dress and thanks to old tradition, keep life in modern times. Handicrafts forgotten in these modern times return, rather than for locals to foreigners.

Afternoon return in Tirana, Albanian Capital. We will visit the city, including here a visit to the wide boulevards, monumental mosaic found in the national museum walls that describes beautifully the glory of The Independence of Albania.

A small deviation toward the area of the block, referred to the previous nomenclature of the communist regime in Albania, and a walk in the house of former dictator Enver Hoxha. This is the most vibrant area of the city, with many bars, clubs, restaurants, etc.
