RAPELLING & STAND UP PADDLE ADVENTURE TO THE PIRATES'S CAVE

Experience a unique adventure combining cliff rappelling, hiking, and stand up paddle boarding in Dhermi Beach. This guided mini-expedition takes you through wild Mediterranean vegetation, dramatic cliffs, and sea caves overlooking the crystal-clear Ionian Sea.

Experience Overview

Early in the morning, you will meet our guides on the left side of Dhermi Beach, where the adventure begins with a 60-minute hike through one of Albania’s most exotic coastal terrains, rich in dense and wild vegetation.

After approximately 30 minutes of hiking in the “jungle” , you will reach a panoramic viewpoint offering a breathtaking view of the entire Dhermi coastline, stretching all the way to Karaburun Peninsula.
 

Cliff Rappelling Experience above the Ionian Sea

Standing on the edge of a cliff 65 meters above the Ionian Sea, you will prepare for an unforgettable rappelling experience. This tour is the perfect combination of adrenaline and scenery, designed for adventure seekers who are comfortable with heights.
After exiting the vegetation, you will find yourself on a dramatic cliff face. While our guides prepare the ropes and safety systems, you will have time to enjoy the views and capture stunning photos.
 

Rappelling Descents

  • First descent: approximately 25 meters, from the top of the cliff to the roof opening of the Pirate’s Cave
  • A short 10-minute walk leads to the second descent
  • Second descent: rappelling one by one through the mouth of the cave, directly to the other  guides waiting below on the water with Big Stand Up paddle Monstair up to 10 people. This height is approximately 20 meters.

Stand Up Paddle Experience

At the bottom of the cave, the guides will be waiting with the Stand-Up Paddle Monstair — a 16-foot giant inflatable board capable of floating up to 10 people.
If the group exceeds ten participants, additional stand-up paddle boards will be used.
After completing the rappelling section, the adventure continues with a stand-up paddle journey along the coastline back to Dhermi Beach, accompanied by our guides.
